BIG MOUTH PI
A Tribute To Tone
The Big Mouth Pi is my recreation of the 1976 Big Muff Pi, the ram's head era variant that defined a generation of sustain-soaked fuzz tone. Hand-built to capture the character of that coveted mid-70s circuit, it delivers thick sustain and smooth harmonic bloom.
Straightforward controls, with an interactive feel. V controls volume/output, T shapes the tone, and S adjusts sustain/fuzz.
As you turn up the sustain, compression increases and the sweep of the tone knob changes along with it. Explore the tone control again as you raise the sustain to find your sweet spot.
Big Mouth Pi is less sensitive to signal-chain placement than Burk Boost or Fort Worth Fuzz. Experiment with it before or after boosts, overdrives, and distortions to find the combination you like best. Or... rock it by itself.
